Top 03 promising vocalists/bands will be invited to perform live at a mega event at Islamabad Serena Hotel, called Sarangi Night. Winner from the competition will be awarded with a debut song recording at Pakistan's leading sound studio in the presence of top professionals of the music industry. |

SUBMISSION RULES
Eligibility
This competition is open for vocalists and bands. Contestant(s) should be a citizen or resident of Pakistan. There is no limitation on gender and profession (except professional musicians). Professional musicians and bands already having media exposure cannot participate in this competition. Contestant(s) should not have a contract with any record company at the time of competition. Contestant(s) should be the same throughout the competition (including video entry).
Entry Fee
There will be no entry fee to the contest. Serena Hotels will not be liable to any payments made to any identity in connection to this contest.

Step 01
Video Submission
Submit video via our online form in accordance with the instructions mentioned on the website. Videos will not be accepted by e-mail, social media or other means.
Judgement
Top 03 promising vocalists/bands will be chosen among all video entries by the jury panel consisting of prominent personalities of the music industry and will be invited to perform live at Sarangi Night at Islamabad Serena Hotel. The top 03 shortlisted bands / solo performers will be informed via phone call on July 26, 2019 and will have to submit their availability within 02 days for performing Live at Sarangi Night to be held in August, 2019 at Islamabad Serena Hotel.
Guidelines
Video submission should be visibly and audibly clear. Performance duration should not exceed 06 minutes. Song selection should be Pakistani. The Contestant(s) should be clearly seen performing live for the whole duration of the recording. “Music videos” for promotional purposes will not be accepted. Serena Hotels reserves the right to reject any video submission before and after publishing.
Musical Instruments
All kinds of electrical and acoustic musical instruments are allowed to be used.
Liability
Contestant(s) should guarantee that video submitted for competition is original work and the video does not contain any other copyrighted material owned by a third party (personal rights, copyright violations, and trademark) and that any person displayed in the video has given their consent to the publication. Contestant(s) shall be liable for any damage or loss claimed by third parties for the submitted video. Videos and song lyrics should not be offensive and discriminatory, either in words or actions, to any person or nationality (regardless of sex, race, religion or others).
Copyright
Submitted video will only be used by the panel of judges to determine the vocalist/instrumentalist/band that deserves to Be The Next Serena Sarangi Star Season 03. The copyright of the video will, at all times, be respected by Serena Hotels and retained by the contestant(s). The contestant(s) grant Serena Hotels the right to use their uploaded video performances for advertising and promotional purposes of any kind, regardless of modification.

Transport
Travel cost for the event (in case of non-availability of proper public transport if specified before traveling) will be reimbursed by Serena Hotels.
Accommodation
Accommodation during the Sarangi Night will be provided by Serena Hotels including complimentary meals and laundry.
Musical Instruments
The contestant(s) must bring their own instruments to perform at the Sarangi Night.
Prize for Winner
Top 03 promising vocalists/bands will be selected on July 26, 2019 by the panel of professional judges to perform live at Sarangi Night by Serena Hotels. The event will be held in August, 2019 at Islamabad Serena Hotel.

- The winner will be featured in press releases, print advertisements and electronic coverage in various newspapers/magazines and online platforms..
